These aren’t your grandmother’s
embroidery projects
Our story
Born into a crafty sewing family, creativity was woven into the very fabric of her upbringing. From a young age, she learned the delicate art of stitching, the rhythmic hum of the sewing machine becoming a familiar backdrop to her childhood. Her grandmothers and aunts taught her the importance of detail and precision.
On the weekends, her grandmother would sit her down and teach her the beginner stages of cross-stitch. Once learning all of the how-to’s in that talent, she eventually graduated up to sewing machines. Her grandmother and aunts taught her the basics of making hair scrunchies and numerous other fun things. She then joined the Girl Scouts where she sat in front of her very own sewing machine. At that point, the world became endless to her and all of her projects.
Through trial and error, she discovered her unique style. Experimenting with fabric textures and colors, she crafted garments that blended traditional techniques with modern aesthetics. The sewing machine grew into a powerful tool for expression and exploration.
As she matured, the skills cultivated into a passion for machine embroidery. The lessons learned were a foundation, but it was her imagination that pushed boundaries. Family gatherings often turned into brainstorming sessions for new projects, where collaboration fueled innovation.
Embracing her roots, she aimed to honor her grandmothers and aunts legacy while also forging her own path in the craft. Each stitch told a story, a connection to her ancestry, and a testament to her commitment to the art of sewing and embroidery, forever linking her to the crafty heritage that shaped her identity.
